Chris Tooley, President of the Canadian Iaido Association, has been practicing Iaido since 1998, and has traveled to Japan, the USA, and Canada. He holds the rank of Nanadan (7 dan) Renshi in Zen Nippon Iaido Renmei and Musō Jikiden Eishin Ryu Seitokai Iaido. He regularly leads Iaido weekly classes locally in the Saanich, Esquimalt, and Westshore Communities. Throughout his years of practice he has been able to garner a strong appreciation for Japanese Culture specifically with respect to Bushido.
