Swimsuit Showdown 2025 - What Exactly is this?!
Hey, Tsukino-Con! Re-vamped for the year 2025, Swimsuit Showdown is back as one BIG Beach Episode! Based on the original Cosplay Swimsuit Contest by Hentai Cupcake Productions, We’re changing into our Summer Skins to present to you one very entertaining contest!
Having been a former contestant, I’ve worked on creating a safe atmosphere for everyone and encourage all kinds of cosplayers to come forward with their unique routines!
Can you do 20 pushups consecutively? Show off your dex score by flipping cups? Is hula hooping or funky visuals your thing? Got something character-specific in mind?! Scroll down and read the rules or contact me to find out if you’re not sure!
The Swimsuit Showdown will consist of three rounds:
- Introduction: Contestants will introduce their characters to the audience and to our judges. This will be an in-character event, so you’d better do your homework!
- Performance: Contestants will have 5 minutes each to showcase their unique Routines- Can be anything from singing to feats of athleticism to whatever their creative minds can come up with!
- Q&A: Upon submission, Contestants will be receiving 10 pre-revealed questions; The judges will then choose 3 of those at random to ask!
There will be two categories in which contestants will have the opportunity to win not just a Large Prize voucher for the Tsukino-Con Prize Room, but also a Gold Pass for Tsukino-Con 2025, valued at $120!
The two categories are as follows:
- Judges’ Choice: Contestants will have to win the hearts of our esteemed panel of judges, who will be overseeing their performances.
- Crowd Favourite: This is where you, our audience, get to decide which contestant has won you over throughout our three rounds! Better warm up those lungs of yours, because you will be voting for your favourite by the loudest applause!
Cosplays do NOT have to be strictly swim-worthy, so while it may technically be a swimsuit contest, it’s entirely up to your imagination! Have some fun with it! If your character were to hit the beach, or even just wanted to show off some skin, think about what they might want to wear!
- The Rules -
....
Failure to comply with any of the rules below may lead to immediate termination of your Intro, Talent, or Q&A portions, full disqualification from the Swimsuit Showdown, and potentially being stripped of your badge and banned from convention grounds, depending on the severity of the infraction.
